The Wildlife Project was founded in 1990 by Jeff Alvarez, of Sacramento, CA. We are a small company, specializing in NEPA/CEQA environmental compliance, and technical field surveys. Specifically, we assist our clients with
- mitigation development and monitoring;
- special-status species surveys and habitat evaluations;
- biological assessments;
- survey and monitoring technique development; and
- biological consultation.
The Wildlife Project also conducts research related to special-status species natural history. Our team has a high level of expertise and skill in working with rare and endangered species in northern and central California. We are recognized for our scientific approach, strong drive to publish research results, and an innate interest in sharing what we learn.
